Patient Care Units

Floors 3, 6 & 7 Med/Surg Units

These patient care units, located on the 3rd, 6th, and 7th Floors, provide professional nursing care set in a friendly and comfortable environment. Many of the rooms in these units are private and the balance of rooms are semi-private (accommodating two patients per room). Pediatric patients are admitted to the 7th Floor in rooms specially designed and decorated for children. Nurses caring for children have training in the special needs of this age group.

Telemetry Unit

Patients recovering from a heart attack or other acute cardiac related episode are admitted or transferred to the 6th Floor Telemetry Unit. Patients are monitored 24 hours a day using sophisticated electronic telemetry instruments. Specially trained registered nurses and telemetry technicians provide the expert care necessary for patients with cardiac related problems
