Diagnostic Services

Laboratory
The Laboratory offers comprehensive services for inpatients and outpatients and is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The laboratory operates an outpatient station for blood draws and other lab testing located at the main entrance lobby of the hospital. Outpatient lab testing is also available at the Helen Ellis Medical Arts Center, 2214 Seven Springs Boulevard, New Port Richey. All outpatient lab testing procedures require a physician’s prescription.

Radiology

Radiology Services provides a comprehensive array of services 24 hours a day. In addition to routine x-rays, Radiology offers advanced diagnostic testing including MRI, CT scanning, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. Mammography

Helen Ellis offers diagnostic mammograms in a patient-friendly mammography suite. The service is certified and accredited by the FDA American College of Radiology and staffed by registered technologists. Diagnostic mammograms require a physician referral. Respiratory Care

Respiratory testing and therapy services are provided by highly trained and licensed respiratory therapists. The services are available to all patient care units in the hospital.
